Blackfoot Canvas Company has been a part of our great community for 47 years. Allen Kremer chose Blackfoot
as the location for his business, as it is in the heart of the best farming area in Southeastern Idaho. In 1960,
agriculture was the biggest part of his business with demands for dams, aprons, truck tarps, and swather aprons. But
as farming and equipment changed over the years, so did the demand in products. With this change came a change in
command. Allen retired and his daughter, Karen Huffaker, took over the business adding new materials including
pack nylons, acrylics, and vinyls.
Today,
Blackfoot Canvas Company is owned and operated by a third generation of the Kremer family, Karen's
daughter, Kimberley Moore-Huffaker. With good help and new ideas, Kimberley is proudly continuing the craftsmanship
tradition of providing quality products and service.
It's the variety of work and people that continue to keep our business interesting
